Argentina’s most awarded creative over the last 15 years, Pablo Del Campo, CEO of Del Campo Nazca Saatchi & Saatchi, Argentina, has been appointed as the Advertising Jury Chairman for the South Africa’s premier brand communication awards, the Loeries.
Del Campo is one of the advertising leaders of the Ibero-American region. He and his team have received 31 Cannes Lions, 41 Clios, more than 200 Fiaps and have been recognised at many of the most renowned national and international festivals. Del Campo himself has also received the Konex Award for Excellence in Communications.
“It’s truly amazing to have someone of Pablo’s calibre as our Advertising Jury Chair,’ says Brett Morris, executive creative director at Draftfcb and chairman of the Creative Circle. “We are particularly excited about the fresh perspective he will bring as a South American. It will be really interesting to see what he thinks of our region’s best work, and if he thinks that our unique voice is coming to the fore.’
Argentina has been ranked third globally, for the fourth consecutive year, in the 2009 Gunn Report, and Del Campo Nazca Saatchi & Saatchi is listed as one of the top-five creative agencies in the world.
Loeries Judging Week will take place from 17 – 25 August 2010, and Del Campo will be speaking at the Judges Seminar, which takes place on 20 August.
