Sharlto Copley, star of the hit breakthrough (and Oscar-nominated) South African film District 9, is, according to The Hollywood Reporter, in negotiations to star in DreamWorks sci-fi thriller, I Am Number Four.
Copley is fresh from starring as Howling Mad Murdoch in The A-Team, the big screen adaptation of the hit TV series of the same name. The film stars Liam Neeson, Bradley Cooper and Jessica Biel.
Prior to District 9, Copley, originally a Cape Town-based filmmaker and visual effects artist, had starred in a sci-fi short film called Alive in Joburg.
