Drama in the form of the suspension of senior staff from public broadcaster SABC’s commercial division, that is. Business Day reports that in the next fortnight at least three senior staff may follow their commercial division head, Gab Mampone, who was suspended last week after internal audit reports into deals concluded by the sales department were presented to the SABC board.
It is believed that the reports have raised issues pertaining to alleged financial mismanagement and possible misuse of SABC facilities.
