The US’s largest satellite pay-TV operator, DirecTV, will launch three 3D HD channels by June 2010. One of this will be VOD. The offering will be a mix of sports, movies and documentaries.
Panasonic will be the eclusive presenting sponsor for the channels. Viewers will require new 3D HD TV sets which will work with existing Direc TV set top boxes and free, updated software.
