In a box office blood-sucking orgy, The Twilight Saga: New Moon, featuring a bunch of good-looking young vampires, made a humongous R7.3m on the South African cinema circuit in its opening weekend of 27 to 29 November.
The impressive opening of fellow new release, Old Dogs (the John Travolta/Robin Williams comedy), pales into comparison – it made R1.9m in the same weekend.
