Now that the excitement and high jinks of the Loerie Awards are over, the Loeries Travelling Exhibition is en route to its last stop of the year – the Stellenbosch Academy of Design and Photography in October. This follows visits to Aardklop National Arts Festival, Tshwane University of Technology and City Varsity Johannesburg. In November the Exhibition will go to the One Club in New York.
The exhibition, which showcases the work of last year’s Loerie winners, aims to inspire both the brand communications industry and budding creatives from tertiary institutions.
“Stellenbosch Academy has hosted the exhibition for the past two years and we are eager to have it return to our campus. It is a fantastic tool to encourage our students and let them know what is possible in the creative field, and what is a winning big idea,” states Janalyn Froese, Institutional Head of Stellenbosch Academy. She adds that The Loerie Awards is an important benchmark for educational institutions and students, “Winning awards and seeing the work of industry winners is essential to keep standards in the brand communications high. The Loeries is a great competition which challenges us and our students.”
