After seven weeks of release the new South Africa film, White Wedding, is still proving its mettle at the local box office. It has made R4.7m to date and was number four in the Ster-Kinekor Top 8 for the week 12 to 18 June and number six in the Ster-Kinekor Top 8 for the weekend 19 to 21 June.
The top earner for the above weekend was the Bradley Cooper comedy, Hangover, at R1.8m, followed by Night at the Museum 2, followed by Terminator: Salvation, Ghosts of Girlfriends Past and Beyonce’s new film, Obsessed.
