The proposed feature-primetime contract between the Screen Actors Guild of America (SAG) and the Alliance of Motion Picture & Television Producers (AMPTP) has been accepted by the SAG board in a majority vote. However, the deal still needs to get ratification approval from the Guild’s 120,000 members,

Those who will oppose the ratification are SAG president Alan Rosenberg and his allies. According to Daily Variety, Rosenberg feels the deal doesn’t guarantee SAG jurisdiction and residuals on some new media projects.
