According to a survey conducted by Akamia Technologies and reported on the Broadcast Engineering website, 82% of European broadcasters plan to offer high definition (HD) online over the next year.
Some of these broadcasters, according to the survey, are already offering short form HD features online. Most of the broadcasters surveyed are planning to offer long form content in the future.
