The new Batman movie, The Dark Knight, continues its swoop on the South African box office having made R7.5m in just two weeks.
However, Will Smith’s superhero spoof Hancock is holding its own at R14.1m after five weeks.
The new Adam Sandler release You Don’t Mess with the Zohan, is currently in second spot after it took R1.5m in its first week (1 to 7 August). With Hancock in third spot for that week, the James McAvoy / Angelina Jolie thriller, Wanted, is in fourth spot and Journey to the Centre of the Earth in fifth spot. (Figures supplied by SAFACT)
