As from 1 July, Disney Channel Spain launches on digital terrestrial TV (DTT) and viewers will be able to watch its programming for free.
The Channel originally launched as a pay-TV offering but has now switched to an ad-supported model to tie into Spain’s switchover from analogue broadcasting to digital.
With programming such as Hannah Montana and High School Musical, Disney Channel Spain is currently the top pay-TV channel with children aged four to 12.
