Presented in different languages – some not even on the 11 official languages list – the films tell real African stories, exploring the age-old and mystical relationship between people and nature.

Featuring contributions by acclaimed filmmakers such as Clifford Bestall (winner of numerous awards, including an Emmy and Artes Award), Karin Slater and Virginia Witts, on subjects which range from the conservation of the natural environment to the relationship between a paralyzed women and a troop of baboons;

from a former actress and cabaret star who has since become a shaman’s apprentice, to two sisters whose recent diagnoses with cancer has been made more tolerable thanks to their interaction with elephants; from a recovering drug addict’s close bond with a deaf cheetah in the remote northern reaches of a Namibian nature reserve, to the Meerkat Man and the unique habituation techniques he applies to a clan of Meerkats just outside Outshoorn, the stories are as unique as they are inspiring and indicative of the inherent positivity with which nature imbues humanity.
