The Cape Town-born actor, Stelio Savante has two reasons to celebrate recently. After 15 years of marriage, he and his wife Carla gave birth to their first child, a girl named Ava Grace in Santa Monica where the couple live.
The second reason to celebrate was that “Ugly Betty’, in which Savante has had recurring guest star roles, stole the Best Musical/Comedy category award from the hot favourite “Desperate Housewives’ at the Golden Globes. Producer of “Ugly Betty’ is actress Salma Hayek. America Ferrara who stars as Betty also won ‘Best Actress in a Comedy/Musical’ category.
