M-Net/SuperSport select Vizrt

Concilium Technologies has announced that M-Net, South Africa’s first
private subscription television service, and SuperSport, M-Net’s eight
channels dedicated to sports programming, have selected Vizrt
solutions for the ingest and asset management of over 200 000 hours
of existing and new content.

Concilium Technologies has been appointed as the prime contractor on this
project, and will be providing local services, in conjunction with Vizrt, to
install and commission the system which will be carried out over one year.

M-Net and SuperSport will use the software for archiving, logging, inserting
metadata, and performing basic editing on its extensive library of
programming. The scalable, IT- based design enables networks to easily
leverage programming for multiple distribution channels.

providing additional hardware for the ingest and play out of the assets that
is controlled by this software.”
