The UNESCO DigiArts – Young Digital Creators (YDC) team has called for entries from young students and teachers to produce their own digital audio-visual piece “Scenes and sounds of my city”. Digital creators can express ideas and reflections on your environment or experiences within urban surroundings.
The best projects will be selected and presented at the 13th International Symposium of Electronic Art (ISEA2006) – ZeroOne San Jose: A Global Festival of Art on the Edge (San Jose – US, August 7-13, 2006.)
Some of the participants will also be invited to the festival to transform their digital pieces into physical urban installations in public spaces.
To enter you must be between 12 – 18 years of age. To participate, materials should be submitted to digiarts@unesco.org by 10 May 2006
