During the month of February, AfriDocs features Africa’s historical and contemporary musical talents within its two weekly documentary slots, which appear on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 20h00 Central African time (GMT + 2) on Channel ED (DStv channel 190 and GOtv channel 65).

AfriDocs African Music Film Month airs documentaries featuring Salif Keita, Cesaria Evora, Bi Kidude, Abdullah Ibrahim, Oliver Mtukudzi, Bob Marley, Omar Sosa, Sister Fa, Spoek Mathambo as well as stories about the Malian Festival Au Desert, Paul Simon’s Graceland and the history of punk in Africa.

Featured music and cultures include: Kenya, Zanzibar, Nigeria, South Africa, Mali, Senegal, Cape Verde, Morocco, Ghana, Angola and beyond.
