SABC1 Mzansi Fo Sho and the popular Friday-night music show, Live, present Phase 1 of the Live Talent Search process by calling on all aspiring presenters to enter the national auditions process online via the channel’s website, at www.sabc1.co.za.

The online registration site was activated on 3 February and closes on 10 March. Applicants are required to fill in an online application form and provide a motivation paragraph on why they want to be a Live presenter. Applicants must be between the ages of 19 and 24 and be proficient in both English and Nguni. Terms and Conditions apply.

“SABC1 is excited to once again present this not-to-be-missed opportunity to the youth of Mzansi to showcase their skill and talent on national television. We encourage them to register in their numbers and to make full use of this process of auditions for a chance to become a presenter on one of the channel’s key music properties,” says the channel’s publicity manager, Vukile Madlala.

Some 200 finalists will be selected from the national registration process. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to do regional screen tests (four people per province). The Top 4 will be invited to participate in the final round in the Live studio in Johannesburg. Viewers will have a final say in voting for their favourite guest presenter to join the Live team.
