Madiba series in the works

The Knowledge Bulletin reports that South African production company Out of Africa Entertainment (The Bang Bang Club) is teaming up with the UKs Left Bank Films (The Queen) and Canadas Blue Ice Films (The Bang Bang Club) to produce a six-part drama series about the life of Nelson Mandela.
Mandela's grandson Kweku Mandela is to co-produce the series. His credits include The Bang Bang Club, Africa United and Lucky.
The series, titled Madiba, wil be shot on location in South Africa this year.
Emmy / BAFTA winner Nigel Williams (Elizabeth I) is writing the script.
