IBC Innovation Awards calls for entries

The International Broadcast Convention (IBC), which takes place every year in Amsterdam in September, is calling for submissions for its prestigious Innovation Awards.
These Awards are presented every September at IBC in recognition of those who push the boundaries of entertainment and media technology and help shape the future of the industry.
The IBC Innovation Awards are unique in the sense that they recognise how manufacturers, vendors and end users work together to achieve a real benefit, be it technical, creative or commercial. The Awards celebrate the visionary application of technology and the innovation that was achieved through collaboration.
The Awards are presented in three categories the most innovative projects in:
- content creation
- content management
- content delivery
Winners are presented their Awards at the IBC Awards Ceremony in front of the industry's most important and innovative people and organisations.
The deadline for entries closes on 10 February 2012.
In addition to the Innovation Awards, the IBC Awards Ceremony also honours those in the industry who have made an outstanding contribution to broadcasting, including the International Honour for Excellence, Judges Prize, Best Conference Paper and the Exhibition Stand Design Awards.
