RTI's international competition

As part of the Republic of China’s centenary celebrations, Radio Taiwan International (RTI), the ROC’s national broadcaster, invites foreign nationals to celebrate the historic occasion through the medium of painting. The top three prize winners will win a cash prize of up to US$ 1 000 and a seven-day, six-night package tour around Taiwan.

Entries must include elements about Taiwan and the digits ‘100’. Submissions will be accepted until 30 June, 2011. A panel of five judges will select the 100 most creative works of art. These paintings will then be exhibited in the ‘Global Congratulations On-line Gallery,’ with an on-line vote to be held at the same time.

The 100 entries that are selected will also be shown in an outdoor projection exhibit at the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall during the National Day celebrations in October.
