SA's first on-air gay wedding

Cape Town based radio station, Heart 104.9 FM, successfully staged the first on-air gay wedding on 26 March at the V&A Waterfront in Cape Town.

Partnering the station in this endeavour, which needed to be “fit for a queen” was Isilumko Media.

Powered by Studentwise, Isilumko embraced the concept of “thinking pink” and provided the perfect ushers, hostesses, runners and groom assistants.
