
South African public service broadcaster SACB has unveiled its new line-up for 2011/2012 financial year for Radio 2000. Since April last year, Radio 2000 has been automated from 12h00am until 05h30am - that block will now be filled as from 1 April.
The new line-up will also coincide with the launch of the Radio 2000 website.
Former Metro fm presenter, Vatiswa Ndarra, joins the breakfast team to co-host the show with Justice Ramohlola. Another returnee to the SABC is former Metro fm and SAFM presenter, Thabiso TT Tema, who takes over from KG Moeketsi as Talk show host Monday to Friday from 18h00 21h00. Moeketsi will present a music show One ton of fun Saturday and Sunday from 18h00 21h00, taking over from David Mashabela.
Mashabela will present Make a Difference Monday to Friday from 21h00 00h00 taking over from Doug Anderson, who has been moved to midnight show 00h00 03h00 Monday to Friday.
Kenny Nkhwashu also returns to the SABC to host a music show on Saturday and Sunday 12h00 15h00. The reggae music show makes a return to the station every Saturday from 21h00 to 00h00 and the show will be hosted by Bongani Radebe.
Early breakfast Monday to Friday will be hosted by Bambo Johnson from 03h00 06h00, while the weekend version of the show will be hosted by Xylon Van Eyck.
