Google Music launch expected

The Guardian reports that after signing major music studio EMI, Google is in discussions with Universal, Sony Music and Warner Music for the online search giant’s first music service.

It is likely that Google Music will combine an MP3 download store with a cloud storage system for remote storage and playback on multiple devices

Google Music is seen as a rival to iTunes. Music industry insiders believe the service is likely to be launched at the end of November.
