Live streaming for gaming

Listed online gaming and entertainment company 2UP Gaming PLC (2GM:GR) has signed up software company ToolsOnAir to provide a broadcast system to generate live streaming of its 2UP game.

ToolsOnAir's just: Broadcast Suite is a highly acclaimed software suite created to meet the fast-paced, data-intensive demands of a live TV broadcast facility.

2UP managing director Peter Bentley says the implementation of the software is pushing the company forward by ensuring the game will be broadcasting in real time to an international audience.

"Utilising ToolsOnAir's products guarantees quality streaming of the live 2UP game," Bentley says.

"This system is another piece of the puzzle coming together in the development of 2UP Gaming and will allow us to provide a content rich, interactive broadcast.

"The just:Play software integrates video, audio and multi-format graphics as well as timeline-based automation to enhance the experience for our users. The real time graphic overlays will allow us to show live betting information as well as content from social media such as Facebook and Twitter.

"The QuickTime-based applications produced by ToolsOnAir will provide a live broadcast facility so users from all around the globe can watch and bet on the exciting live games."
