Valentine’s Day open-air screening

The fabulously romantic 2004 film, The Notebook, starring Ryan Gosling and Rachel MacAdams, will be screened on Valentine’s Day, 14 February at Rhebokskloof Wine Estates’ scenic open-air Theatre on the Lake in Paarl, Western Cape.

The Notebook (PG 13 S), is a classic story of thwarted love, a rich-and-poor social divide and unrequited emotions withstanding the passage of time.

Interested parties are welcome to pre-order a special movie night picnic or purchase burgers, popcorn and cold drinks on the evening. Rhebokskloof wines are available to purchase. It’s advisable to bring picnic blankets and cushions for comfort.

The sprawling lawns of Rheboksloof Wine Estate overlooking its picturesque dam, makes for the perfect location for the estate’s Theatre on the Lake series of music concerts and movie nights.

Upcoming events to look forward to include the Afrikaans rock sensation Die Heuwels Fantasties on 24 February, and Louise Carver on 23 March 2012 who will be launching her CD on the occasion.

Tickets are available at R69.00 per person and gates open at 18h00 with the show starting at 19h30.
