The Girl shoots in Cape Town

British It Girl Sienna Miller (Alfie, Casanova ) is in Cape Town shooting the UK TV movie, The Girl, a film that explores the relationship between the late iconic filmmaker Alfred Hitchcock (Psycho, Rear Window) and his leading lady in films such as Marnie and The Birds, Tippi Hedren.
Julian Jarrold (Brideshead Revisited, Becoming Jane) is directing with Toby Jones (Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Elizabeth I) playing Hitchcock. Imelda Staunton (Vera Drake) and Penelope Wilton (Downton Abbey) co-star.
Hedren is the mother of actress Melanie Griffith.
