Short film competition

DStv invites South African filmmakers to enter short films of between three and 10 minutes into the DStv Film Talent Celebration Competition. Films may be in any genre but must have a high impact offering.

This competition focuses on the ability of South African filmmakers to tell wonderful authentic stories through very short films.

Winners will receive the following cash prizes:

Best Production =R50k (Overall)
Best Director =R40k
Best Editor =R40k
Best Sound =R40k
Best Cinematography =R40k
Best Newcomer =R20k

The only accepted format is DVD and all submissions must include a completed entry form. Only South Africans are eligible for entry. There is no submission fee.
