The 48 Hour Film Project (48HFP) will bring a wild weekend of filmmaking fun to Cape Town from 1 to 3 September 2017. On this weekend, our local film scene will explode with filmmakers making films in just 48 hours.

Armed with a genre, character, prop and line of dialogue, our fearless filmmakers will make their way through the cinematic jungle and emerge with a creative masterpiece.

This year's filmmaking will kick off on 1 September. The winner of Best Film will go on to represent Cape Town as it vies for Best Film of the World against more than 130 other city winners.
