Business 'picking up' at DraftFCB

DraftFCB Johannesburg celebrated ‘the end of a tough but rewarding year’ with a cocktail function for media and clients including Vodacom, Old Mutual and South African Breweries at their offices in Sandton on 17 November.

After a video highlighting the work of the company during the past year, group executive chairman Nkwenkwe Nkomo said that business was picking up. “We believe it’s because we have people here who are committed,” he noted.

He also referred to the need for free speech and the right to advertise in South Africa with regard to efforts to ban the advertising of alcohol. “If it’s legal and we have the right to sell it, it has to have a voice,” said Nkomo.
