MTV and Shell are looking for keen young South African film makers to participate in the MTV Making the Video Challenge with Shell taking place in Johannesburg from 25 August.

Budding AV enthusiasts - amateur or professional - are invited to submit their details to MTV to see if they have what it takes to get involved in the week-long project, which sees four teams competing against each other to create a music video for a hot, contemporary South African star, mentored by an international director. Last year's project linked up Nick Quested with HHP and US R& B diva Amerie.
