Variety reports that American television network 20th Century Fox TV has signed a production and programming pact with UK commercial network ITV. This will give both parties the option of developing each other’s formats.

ITV is already in development with a British version of Fox’ 1990s sitcom, Dharma & Greg.

As per the deal, Fox and ITV have launched a joint development fund to create new programming, to be produced either together or separately for international distribution. The fund will be called the Shared Development Group.
