Daimeler-Benz's premium Mercedes SUV line will soon offer HD Radio as an installed option in the US. In addition to a telematics package with features like Bluetooth hands-free control and colour graphic displays, buyers will have an array of audio options such as a true-diversity radio tuner with both HD Radio and Siruis satellite radio capability. A DSP-based Harmon-Kardon Logic 7 high-powered audio system will also e available. Three units are available. Daimler has still to announce the price and availability dates.

Hyundai has also announced that it will offer HD Radio receivers on its rear-wheel drive premium sports sedan scheduled for introduction in 2008.
