Nates opens new division

Nates Audio Visual has opened a new division which is specifically aimed at general servicing and out of warranty repairs on cameras, lights, sound equipment, cables and VTR decks. A priority will be to offer speedy turn around service on equipment maintenance throughout Johannesburg. This new division will be headed up by Devin Zivkovic.
A general service will include a check of all camera functions and outputs. Included in the service is a cosmetic clean as well as alignment and monitoring of the head drum performance and tape path. If additional service or repair work is required, the client will be provided with an estimate cost.
An addition service from Nates is archiving on a new system called the LTO Ultrium. The tape has a lifespan of 20 years and can hold 800GB of data on each tape.
