Public broadcaster SABC’s Radio Broadcast Facilities (RBF) has launched the digital revitalisation of the RadioPark Foyer in preparation for South Africa’s digital migration.

The revamped Foyer houses the studios for the public commercial radio stations, Metro FM and 5FM and a public broadcast service radio station.

State of the art digital broadcast equipment has been built into a configuration that supports a combination of “live-on-air” in one studio and a fully fledged production suite in the other – this is a modern concept or idea commonly referred to as the ‘factory’.
