Radio frequency spectrum policy

Following the approval of the Draft Radio Frequency Spectrum Policy last week, the Department of Communication (DoC) will present the Policy document to cabinet this week.
According to DoC Director-General Mamodupi Mohlala , the Policy includes measures to improve spectrum usage and a directive for the pricing of the commercially competitive spectrum.
The draft legislation for national broadband has also been submitted to cabinet. (Source: Business Day)
