
The Cannes Film Festival, which runs from 14 to 25 May in Cannes, France, will screen a classic movie from the Warner Bros archive during each night of the festival to pay tribute to the studio’s 85th anniversary.
Richard Schickel’s documentary, You Must Remember This: The Warner Bro Story, narrated by Clint Eastwood, will also be screened. This will be the film’s premiere.
Other screenings include a night of Looney Tunes shorts and Mervyn LeRoy’s 1932 film I Am a Fugitive From a Chain Gang.
The tribute will end with a screening of 1999’s The Matrix.
