In sharp contrast to delivering 160 broadcast hours for the recent Vancouver Winter Olympics, the BBC is scheduling just one hour of TV highlights daily from the Vancouver Winter Paralympics, which runs until 21 March.

The BBC’s reason for the scarce coverage is, according to The Guardian, “budget restrictions and the time zone factor”.
The BBC’s only other coverage will be through daily news reports and the BBC sport website.
