MultiChoice drops porn channel idea

MultiChoice has announced that it will no longer consider the possibility of launching porn channels on its DStv bouquet. The broadcaster began researching the viability of a porn offering some weeks ago and was met with a barrage of opposition from all quarters.

The Ministry for Women, Children and Persons with Disabilities on Friday has welcomed MultiChoice’s announcement.
