Commercial film production company, Picture Tree, will open two new divisions in 2008: Picture Tree Australia and Picture Tree Projects.

Picture Tree will continue to run from their Johannesburg-based offices with Executive Producer, Gary King, supported by his producers Scott Njumbuxa and Jackie Nel. Their four directors are Alan Irvin, Oscar Strauss, Gersh Kgamedi and Ian Difford who all started their directing careers with Picture Tree.

Picture Tree Australia will be run by Executive Producer, Sherry Bush, from her new base in Sydney from March 2008. This move opens up exciting opportunities for Picture Tree in the Australian and Pacific Rim film production arena, offering these clients options to work with South African directors in SA or abroad. South African clients also benefit by gaining direct access to specialized production services in Australia and New Zealand.

Picture Tree Projects is a newly strategized division that will be overseen by King.
