AARDKLOP NATIONAL ARTS FESTIVAL
Aardklop is an annual national arts festival that aims to differentiate itself as a festival of top quality. Aardklop contributes to the celebration and development of South African arts in general, within a widespread context. Aardklop, launched in 1998, is inherently Afrikaans but universal in Character. Aardklop provides a platform for the creativity and talent of local artists. It is a display of the best current and developing cultural trends in South Africa and in the world. It is held in the university town of Potchefstroom.
