SAGE (South Africa Guild of Editors) is screening the Emmy Award winning wildlife documentary “Eye of the Leopard”
DURBAN INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL (DIFF)
It was launched 29 years ago and has grown in size and stature over the years into one of the country premier festivals, with a considerable overseas profile.
The festival aim is to produce a professionally implemented international film festival of culturally diverse, quality films from around the world with a special focus on Africa and South Africa. It also presents a relevant seminar and workshop pro-gramme aimed at filmmakers, emerging filmmakers and the general public.
It takes place annually, usually in July, in Durban situated in the province of KwaZulu-Natal.

Aardklop is an annual national arts festival that aims to differentiate itself as a festival of top quality. Aardklop contributes to the celebration and development of South African arts in general, within a widespread context.
Aardklop, launched in 1998, is inherently Afrikaans but universal in Character. Aardklop provides a platform for the creativity and talent of local artists. SITHENGI – SOUTHERN AFRICAN INTERNATIONAL FILM & TELEVISION MARKET
Sithengi is held annually in Cape Town and encourages the buying and selling of African product. It hosts a Co-production Forum that allows producers to pitch projects to international broadcasters and buyers. Sithengi also organises indus-try-related seminars and workshops. Sithengi takes place in November.

WILD TALK AFRICA
The first ever Wild Talk Africa International Wildlife Film Festival & Conference was held in April 2006 in Durban. Wild Talk’s aim is to highlight South Africa’s wildlife filmmaking industry, to expose it to international broadcasters, commissioning editors and producers, and to provide a valuable platform for networking. At the 2007 event, Wild Talk will launch its wildlife film competition, The Roscars.
