Platypus Productions will launch its 2008 Art with Heart initiative with a special breakfast on Valentines Day.

Art with Heart is the brainchild of Stanley Edwards, director of Platypus Productions, who with a background in photography had the idea to gather “frustrated” artists working in the advertising, marketing, production and media industries to join him in rediscovering their creative talents while staging an auction to benefit charity.

Platypus Productions held the first Art with Heart black tie charity auction of work produced in conjunction with the Cape Film Commission at the end of last year at The Bay Hotel in Camps Bay. The initiative proved to be a great success raising funds for the two charities involved, Heart of Healing and Hollywood Hearts.

After the success of last year Platypus intends to take this event to a new level, ensuring that it grows in size and recognition.
