* Monitoring the wire services and news feeds for the latest international sport news of interest to viewers on the continent of Africa
* Working on the news desk, write scripts for sports inserts and illustrate these stories visually in video editing
* Setting up guests to be interviewed during the various bulletins
* Assisting in crafting intros and cues for anchors in studio
Requirements
* Excellent command of the English language
* Excellent writing skills
* Good editorial judgement and interpretational skills
* Ability to work under pressure making deadlines
*Willingness to work irregular and long hours
Note:
• The successful candidates will be required to work irregular and long hours, including weekends, public holidays and standby shifts
• These are contract positions only
