* Present live on air news bulletins from the studio in Johannesburg
* Present current affairs programming live on air or prerecorded in studio
* Present special news events live on air from location
* Conduct on air or prerecorded interviews with studio guests when required
* Working on the news desk write scripts for news inserts
* Write and craft intros and cues to news stories in studio
Requirements
* At least two years broadcasting experience
* Good editorial judgement and interpretational skills
* Good understanding of the visual medium
* Excellent command of the English language
* Excellent writing skills
* Experience in travelling and working on the continent of Africa will be an advantage
* Willingness to travel on the Africa continent when required and work irregular and long hours
Note:
• The successful candidates will be required to work irregular and long hours, including weekends, public holidays and standby shifts
• These are contract positions only
