ENG CAMERA OPERATOR X2

* Visually conceptualizing and film news stories and current affairs features visiting countries on the continent of Africa
* Supervising all matters technical when crossing live from location via satellite participating in on air bulletins
* Video and audio editing of news stories filmed on location
* Feeding completed news stories from location to the base station in Johannesburg
* Operate a self drive SNG truck when required
* Maintaining all ENG equipment in your care
Requirements
* Minimum of five years experience as an ENG camera operator
* Able to do video and audio editing using Final Cut Pro software
* Good understanding of field production equipment for filming editing and feeding purposes
* Ability to work under pressure making deadlines
* Willingness to travel on the Africa continent and work irregular and long hours
* Experience in travelling and working on the continent of Africa will be an advantage
Note:
*The successful candidates will be required to work irregular and long hours, including weekends, public holidays and standby shifts
*These are contract positions only
