-Assisting the Audio Mixer
- Microphone set ups in studio and on location
- Equipment checking
- Charging and managing batteries and department consumables
- Collecting information for administration such as the cue sheets
- Doing all paper work associated with audio department e.g. labels, cue sheets
- Assisting the Floor Manager and stand in when required
- Working with crew
-Trouble shooting when necessary
- Ensuring presenters and guest are ready to go on air
- Ensuring that no cables are showing
- Briefing and ushering presenters and guests
Ability to:
- troubleshoot
- operate in live and pre-recorded environment
- work under pressure and make deadlines
- work without supervision and take responsibility
- work in a multi camera and outside broadcast environment
- be computer literate
- be a team player
- Have a good
hearing
- take instruction
The successful candidates will be required to work irregular hours including weekends and public holidays.
