In partnership with DFL-Supercup, StarSat will on the day announce its showcasing of the new season of Bundesliga in a sporty event to be hosted at the Addidas Base in Johannesburg. The creme de la creme of the soccer fraternity will grace the event, which will be facilitated by former Bafana Bafana goalkeeper Brian Baloyi and SABC’s sports commentator David Kekana. Media, popular soccer legends and stars, and the public will get an opportunity to watch the first kick-off game between Dortmund and Bayern. The game will kick start at 20h30 until 22h30.
As if this is not enough, there will be a lucky draw for a public member to win a fully paid trip to Germany to watch one of the Bundaliga games. “As a fast growing satellite TV in the country, we always find ways of engaging with our subscribers on a personal level, as well as rewarding them for their support. We will therefore be very honoured to host one of our valuable subscribers on this trip where they will get a once in a lifetime opportunity to watch a soccer game in Germany,’ adds Yan.
